More group answers to your solo questions
Can I come alone to the group trip as solo?
Yes. Solo travelers are more than welcome, you are encouraged. This is your chance to meet new faces, connect with like-minded travelers, and build a network.
You’ll either be paired with someone who matches your vibe so you don’t have to worry about finding a roommate before arrival. If you’d rather have your own space, you can pay extra for a private room.
Do I have to do everything with the group or stick to the itinerary?
No. You’re an adult and you can create your own solo experience at any point. Join the group when you want, and do your own thing when you want.
For safety, always share your whereabouts and make sure someone knows where you are. Let the group know when you plan to return so everyone stays aware.
Do these group trips have payment plans?
Usually, yes. Payment plans are typically available when you sign up early enough. In most cases, you’ll make a payment at least once every three months.
If you join closer to the trip date, expect a larger down payment, and in some cases you may need to pay in full.
How do refunds work?
Refund policies vary, but typically a refund is only available if you cancel early in the process. If you’re on a payment plan, you may receive a refund if canceled within the first payment window. If you paid in full, you may receive a full refund if the trip is still at least 6–8 months away.
If you cancel within three months of the trip, you likely won’t receive your payment back in full. At that point, tours and bookings have already been arranged, and canceling affects the group. You’ll need to contact the host directly to see if a prorated refund is possible.
